WHAT IS AN ARGENTINIAN ASADO?

In Argentina, “Asado” refers to both the social gathering itself and the traditional method of slow-grilling premium meats, sausages, and vegetables over a vast bed of live embers.

While a standard UK kettle BBQ relies on trapped smoke and indirect ambient heat under a closed lid, an Argentinian Asado is entirely open-air.
